Each week I’ll be featuring a set of ads, ones that in my opinion are good, bad and just plain terrible. This is designed as a forum for opinion, and if you think otherwise please don’t hesitate to comment!

The Good – Dominos – Look at the Cheese

Everytime I watch this one (it’s been off the air for a while now), I can’t help it but smile. The spot does a fantastic job of focusing on the senses, by literally blowing them up out of proportion. Each character has their own specialty, and lets everyone else know their opinion. Look at the cheese? Brilliant.

The Bad – Whopper Virgins

I’ve already voiced my opinion about this one in a previous post. This isn’t the actual video of the taste test that’s been on TV recently, but either way I still think that the campaign is unjustified. Although quite interesting and cute, the campaign just accentuates the global impression of the US as arrogant. Overall it’s a well shot campaign and a well-thought out idea, I just think that it’s culturally insensitive.

The Ugly – Casio

Worst commercial ever. Hands down. Looks like something that was created by a bunch of highschoolers using cheap computer effects. Voiceover sounds like it was made by a non-English speaking agency in Asia. The music is annoying, the action is stupid and the acting is terrible. Come on, Casio, you’re better than this. Enough said.

All comments and critiques welcome!
